About James
James is a co-owner and Chief Investment Officer of BH Group and has been in the real estate market for nearly 30 years in a number of roles within the Fund Management arm of CBRE.
This covered most areas but with a focus on transactions, planning, asset management, development and financing. He won a number of industry awards for the performance of his funds before setting up the alternative/operational real estate team within CBREIM. For the last 15 years he has focused on operational real estate with specific focus on hotels. James left CBREIM to join the BH Group.
James studied law at York Law School and became a fully qualified property lawyer, before switching to join Hillier Parker in their Fund Management team.
James loves his sport and whilst not being much of a golfer(!) is a better tennis player; having represented the UK at U18, U21 and student level. James is big family man and is happily married with 3 children.
